Skills

Throughout the task, I had to identify which shots worked best, edit and more. I planned all of my shots and created a storyboard with my team and found that I was least skilled in actually working with the camera in small spaces. However, I was poor at planning and preparing aspects of the task including storyboarding , editing, writing and directing.

Outcome

The outcome was not perfect due to the flawed match on action shots and incorrect framing. I am, however, proud of the sequence and the story as it is easy to understand and clearly presented. If I were to redo the match on action shots and correct the framing.

Planning

Storyboarding allowed me to cary the shot types that were available to me so that the audience can become more immersed in the story due to the different perspectives. Storyboarding allowed me to visualise the final outcome and make tweaks according to the flaws highlighted in the storyboard and shot list.

Which skills do you think you were particularly good at and which were you less good at?
I was good at the editing part and I actually quite enjoyed it. I was in the film and I wasn’t really good at the acting and I wasn’t good at the storyboarding.

Which aspects of the film do you think worked well and which were less successful? I think the filming went well by I think we could have done better with the shots and frames.

What changes would you make if you were to complete the projects again?
I would add more shots and make out storyboard look better.

What have you learnt about the important ace of storyboard and shot-lists that you can use when you plan your big production piece?
I have learnt about the different types of shots and to use them in my big production piece and to add them in my storyboard.
