- Credits Over Screen - this involves a blank screen with contrast colour writing. The font and text can set the mood for the film.
- Narrative Opening - someone speaking to the audience allowing the audience to make a judgement of the main character by the tone of the main character's voice.

My favourite type opening would be the stylised title sequences. This is because I think it blends seamlessly into the film as well as setting the tone for the film.
